HOW CAN I CANCEL MY DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERSHIP?
Membership can be cancelled with 30 days notice. To cancel your direct debit membership please email Ashbourne at membershipsie@ashbournemanagement.co.uk Please state your name, the gym you are a member of and your member number.
Cancellations cannot be requested or facilitated at the gym reception.
CAN I CHANGE MY BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS FOR MY MONTHLY DIRECT DEBIT?
Yes. As per the terms and conditions, for all queries regarding monthly membership, please forward your request to Ashbourne directly by email at: membershipsie@ashbournemanagement.co.uk
WHAT DOES "NO CONTRACT" MEAN?
It means exactly that. There is no contract. The minimum term is the first month plus the joining fee. Memberships can be cancelled after the minimum term payment is made. To cancel your direct debit membership please email the Ashbourne at membershipsie@ashbournemanagement.co.uk

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I HAVE PAID FOR A MEMBERSHIP?
As soon as you join online you will receive a confirmation email with a reference number. The membership is current and starts immediately upon payment. On your first visit to the gym, you must present yourself to our reception desk to check in. We will be using a finger print access control soon where you will scan your fingerprint for our access.
CAN I PAY IN TO USE THE GYM WITHOUT A MEMBERSHIP?
Yes, you can use the gym on a pay‑as‑you‑go basis.
For your first visit, you’ll need to create an account online and pay in advance. You will receive an email confirmation and this will need to be presented as proof at reception.
After that, you can come to reception any time and pay in for single‑visit access.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR JOINING?
Members and guests must be 16 years or older to join and use the facilities. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian present when joining to sign their membership form and present during their first time as a guest to sign their visitor form.
CAN I TOUR THE GYM BEFORE JOINING?
Yes absolutely. Please ask at the reception and a member of our team will show you around.
CAN I SUSPEND OR PAUSE MY MEMBERSHIP?
You can request a pause by contacting Ashbourne at: membershipsie@ashbournemanagement.co.uk Membership pauses will be considered only on medical grounds. The time missed will start from the date you requested the pause in writing and must be accompanied by a note from a medical professional with and end date specified.
HOW CAN I RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP?
If you have joined online, prior to their expiry date, you will receive an email with a link to renew and pay for your membership. If you do not receive a renewal link you can request one to be sent to you by one of our reception team. You can also pay for your renewal at reception in person.
CAN I TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP?
No, under Leixlip Amenities Terms & Conditions all memberships are non-transferable.
WILL I BE SHOWN HOW TO USE THE EQUIPMENT WHEN I JOIN?
Yes. Should you require this, we will provide an induction in how to operate the gym equipment. Please ask a member of our team at reception for induction availability.
WHAT ARE THE GYM RULES?
General Codes of Conduct
- Respect the staff and other members. Do not use abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language or gestures. Do not harass, bully, or intimidate anyone.
- Follow the instructions of the staff and the signs posted in the gym. Do not misuse or damage any equipment or facilities. Report any issues or concerns to the staff immediately.
- Clean up after yourself. Wipe down the equipment after use. Put away any weights, mats, or accessories you used. Dispose of any trash or personal items in the bins provided. Powder and chalk is not allowed.
- Share the space and the equipment with others. Do not hog any machines or areas for longer than necessary. Allow others to work in with you if they ask. Do not disturb others who are working out.
- Dress appropriately and maintain good hygiene. Wear clean and comfortable clothing and footwear that are suitable for exercise. Bring a towel and use it to cover any benches or seats you use.
- The facility does not support the use of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs.
- Personal training is prohibited unless agreed by management.
- Be mindful of your noise level. Do not make excessive noise that may disturb others. Use headphones if you want to listen to your own music. Avoid dropping weights.
- Take care of your belongings. Bags are not allowed on the gym floor and lockers are available in the changing rooms for your convenience. The facility is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Sign the health commitment statement before using the gym. This is to confirm that you are fit and healthy to exercise and that you understand the risks involved. All users with any known medical conditions should consult with their doctor before participating in any form of exercise.
- Failure to comply with this code of conduct can result in membership termination.

HOW CAN I BOOK INTO CLASSES?
All members can book into classes using the Leixlip Amenities app. Classes are included in our Platinum and Fitness Class memberships.
Standard Gym members can also book classes by buying credits to use towards classes via the Leixlip Amenities app.
